Aylmer Minor Ball Winter Update
The Aylmer Minor Ball Executive is busy planning for the 2022 season and there are many new and exciting things happening!
You will notice our website is new and we are working on adding content and improving the design. The new website will link with Southern Counties so that Competitive team schedules and scores will automatically update and our website will link to the season standings. The registration module also links with Baseball Ontario central registry while alleviates the administrative burden on AMBA.
AMBA is also excited to announce that an indoor training center has been setup at the Elgin Innovation Center. This training center is intended to help give our competitive players the opportunity to hone their skills during the winter and spring months so we can hit the ground running when the diamonds are ready. This will help give our players an edge that we have not had previously. Our inflatable batting cage has been setup, turf laid and hitting nets are ready to go. Tryouts for 11U and 13U will begin on February 17. The cost for tryouts is $50 and players are guaranteed 4 sessions. Registration will be open shortly for competitive team tryouts. Payment can be made by cash or cheque at the first session. There will be an additional $50 fee once tryouts are over to cover the rental costs for the remaining indoor practices
Registration for the 2022 season is also being worked on and should be open by February 6th.
